Interior Image
I'm Sharon Askew, sole
proprietor of Interior Image. I have been decorating Capital Region
homes for the last 20 years.
I have a Bachelor's degree in English, with a minor in art. Upon
graduation, I followed my true calling ~ making other people's homes
beautiful places to be! I love the "use what you have"
philosophy of decorating, because I believe that creativity can be
boundless when working with people's prized belongings. My
motto: If you love it, USE it.
After working in the field for 8 years, I opened my own business in
1996 as a sewing subcontractor for other interior designers, then branched
out on my own in 1999. I have enjoyed being my own boss
ever since.
